As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Mental Health Therapist, I understand that many of us endure difficult events throughout life—some of which may be overwhelming or traumatic. These experiences shape how our mind and body, specifically our nervous system, respond to the world, often leaving us feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from ourselves.
As a therapist, my goal is to help clients understand the life events they have endured and how those experiences may contribute to emotional challenges as well as resilience. I encourage clients to explore their struggles with curiosity and compassion, looking at their experiences from new perspectives and gently connecting with the root causes of distress. Together, we work toward healing that honors both the mind and the body’s innate capacity to regulate, repair, and restore balance.
I help clients understand that releasing long-held struggles offers a second chance—a chance to cultivate rooted resilience, reconnect with their inherent right to thrive, and create something more grounded and meaningful. My approach is holistic, nervous-system–informed, and anchored in the belief that healing unfolds when we feel safe, supported, and connected within.
I value the individuals I work with and strive to create a nonjudgmental, open, and trustworthy atmosphere. My sessions are interactive and guided by your needs, allowing you to identify your goals while we collaborate to reach them.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of North Dakota. I have been practicing as a therapist in an outpatient setting since 2017 and previously worked in medical social work and child welfare for seven years. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education in the latest evidence-based and somatic approaches.
My specific area of interest is supporting clients in healing from trauma. I use an integrative model that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (parts work), and training in The Biology of Trauma™ with Dr. Aimie Apigian. This nervous-system–centered, trauma-informed framework also guides the supervision and mentorship I provide to our clinicians at Level Up Mental Health Collaborative, ensuring a consistent, holistic standard of care across our team.
I have experience providing therapy services for individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief and loss, self-harming behaviors, and concerns related to a variety of adverse experiences.
At this time, my caseload is full as I focus on supervising and supporting our clinical team. The same integrative, nervous-system–centered approach described above is woven throughout the supervision and guidance I provide to our therapists. Each clinician brings their own strengths to this shared model, and I encourage prospective clients to explore working with one of our providers.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I offer individual therapy in a safe, grounded, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your experiences with support and compassion. My primary goal is to build a trusting relationship so you feel comfortable and secure as we work together to understand your story, identify what feels out of alignment, and remove the barriers that keep you from living a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
I believe healing happens when you feel seen, supported, and empowered. Throughout our work together, I strive to help you process past trauma, shift unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional resilience, and improve how you function in your daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. Everyone comes to therapy for different reasons, and it is my honor to walk alongside you as you move toward clarity, healing, and growth.
I received both my Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. Since 2012, I have worked with children, adults, and families in a wide range of settings including child welfare, family preservation, hospital social work, in-home family therapy, and outpatient individual therapy. These experiences allow me to understand the many layers that influence mental health, relationships, and the nervous system.
My therapeutic approach is holistic, integrative, and rooted in trauma-informed care. I draw from a variety of modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Motivational Interviewing, and other nervous system–centered approaches that support regulation, healing, and long-term change. I am committed to ongoing training and staying current with evidence-based approaches to allow me to offer the most effective and supportive care possible.
I currently provide therapy services to children and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, emotional dysregulation, and other challenges. Whether you are seeking support in healing from the past or building new patterns for the future, I am here to help you move toward a more grounded, empowered, and connected version of yourself.

As a Clinical Social Worker, my goal is to provide clients with a safe and supportive environment for healing while helping them understand themselves within the context of their own lives. This includes guiding them to explore the question of "What happened to me?" rather than solely focusing on "What is wrong with me?" By understanding their responses to difficult experiences, we can make sense of their place in the world and nurture personal growth.
For more than ten years, I have provided trauma-focused clinical services to both individuals and groups in various settings. My expertise encompasses supporting youth and adults grappling with mental health challenges, chemical dependency, developmental disabilities, and trauma. During a significant part of my career, I dedicated six years to serving young survivors of domestic violence and childhood abuse, establishing a profound connection with this population. Through this experience, I have developed specialized skills to assist clients in enhancing their resilience and healing from these traumas. Over the past five years, I have served as a School-Based Mental Health Professional, offering support to students in a K-12 rural school setting.
I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at Concordia College and then pursued my social work degrees at the University of North Dakota, graduating in 2011. I hold a Master of Social Work degree and am a fully licensed mental health therapist as an LCSW in the state of ND and as an LICSW in the state of MN.
Within my practice, I have received training in and utilize a variety of trauma-informed interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). These therapeutic approaches allow me to provide specialized care to individuals impacted by trauma. Currently, I work with children and adults, tailoring my support to their specific needs.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to supporting early childhood mental health. I am passionate about helping young children and the adults who care for them—parents and other caregivers—build secure, connected relationships that support emotional resilience and well-being. In therapy, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where children and the important adults in their lives feel seen, understood, and supported. Whether navigating developmental concerns, attachment disruptions, early trauma, or difficult life adjustments, my goal is to guide families toward healing, growth, and deeper connection.
While a significant part of my work focuses on early childhood, I also provide therapy for teens and young adults, supporting them through identity development, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and relational stress. My approach with young adults remains grounded in the same principles of safety, attunement, nervous system awareness, and trauma informed care, meeting them where they are with respect, curiosity, and compassion.
When working with children and teens, I believe caregiver involvement is an essential part of a child’s healing process. Caregivers play a pivotal role in supporting a child’s emotional growth, and I work closely with them to provide tools, insights, and strategies that enhance their ability to nurture, regulate, and connect with their child. By addressing the needs of both the child and the caregiver, I take an integrated approach that honors the interconnectedness of parent-child dynamics, attachment, and well-being.
My therapeutic approach is holistic and developmentally informed. I draw from a variety of modalities, including DC: 0–5, trauma-informed care, the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, play therapy techniques, EMDR, and somatic and nervous-system–based practices. By integrating the principles of neurobiology and nervous system regulation, I support my clients in navigating challenges, healing from trauma, and building lasting emotional balance. Prioritizing attachment, safety, and regulation allows me to help clients strengthen their internal resources and create foundations for lifelong mental health.
I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work (2023) and Master of Social Work (2024) degrees from the University of North Dakota. I have experience in community mental health, supporting families through various forms of trauma, and working with individuals of all ages through equine-assisted and animal-assisted services. I deeply value the transformative power of partnering with animals in the healing process and hope to incorporate this meaningful work into my practice in the future.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a dedicated mental health therapist, passionate about empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges and experience meaningful, lasting growth. I take a holistic approach to healing, believing that true transformation involves the mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help clients uncover their inner strengths, deepen self-understanding, and move toward lives that feel grounded, connected, and fulfilling.
My practice is rooted in a diverse range of evidence-based approaches, including attachment-based work, trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic techniques. I am also trained in EMDR and draw from Polyvagal Theory to support clients in understanding and regulating their physiological responses to stress, anxiety, and trauma. By integrating somatic practices and other nervous system focused modalities that honor the body’s wisdom, I help clients connect more deeply with themselves, build internal safety, and develop tools that support long-term emotional resilience.
Supporting nervous system regulation is a central part of my work. I strive to create personalized treatment plans that acknowledge each client’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals. My commitment to ongoing learning ensures that I remain up to date on the most effective and supportive approaches for healing and personal transformation.
I currently work with adolescents and adults. I have experience supporting individuals navigating complex life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship patterns, and the desire for deeper self-awareness. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we identify barriers, cultivate resilience, and foster lasting change.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 2018, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2023 and my Master of Social Work degree in 2024. Since 2016, I have worked in a wide range of community mental health settings, including residential care programs, counseling environments, and community outreach and civic health initiatives. These diverse experiences allow me to bring a comprehensive, compassionate perspective into my clinical work.
