At Level Up Mental Health Collaborative, we don’t use a one-size-fits-all model. We choose approaches based on your goals, your nervous system capacity, and what will support regulation and integration in everyday life.
Our clinical identity is trauma-informed and nervous system-centered. That means we work with both mind and body patterns, using structure, pacing, and boundaries so therapy is effective and sustainable.
CBT helps identify patterns in thoughts, behaviors, and coping that keep you stuck. We use CBT tools in a way that supports real-life change while staying connected to nervous system responses.
Person-centered therapy emphasizes a strong therapeutic relationship, empathy, and collaboration. It supports clients in building clarity, self-trust, and forward movement without pressure or shame.
A strength-based approach helps you recognize what’s already working and build from there. This supports capacity and resilience—especially when stress responses have been running the show.
Parts work helps you understand the “parts” of you that protect, shut down, over-function, or react under stress. We work with these patterns with compassion and structure so integration becomes possible over time.
Mindfulness builds awareness of what’s happening in the present moment—internally and externally—without getting flooded. We use mindfulness in a grounded way that supports regulation, not perfection.
Meditation can support nervous system settling and emotional clarity over time. We tailor meditation practices to your capacity so they feel supportive rather than overwhelming.
Motivational interviewing helps resolve ambivalence and strengthen readiness for change. It’s especially helpful when you feel stuck between what you want and what your nervous system can tolerate.
NMT-informed care recognizes that stress and trauma affect development and regulation. We use a developmental lens—especially with kids and families—to support regulation and connection in practical ways.
For children, therapy often needs to be experiential. Play-based techniques help kids express stress responses and build regulation in developmentally appropriate ways.
